Communicable Diseases Training and Registration
Community Health Awareness Group provides Level 1 and 2 Communicable Disease education and training to agencies funded by the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN)
Level 1 Training:
All staff with client contact at a licensed treatment provider must complete a Level 1/Phase 1 Communicable Disease Training (HIV/AIDS, STDs, TB, and Viral Hepatitis). This training will provide in-depth information about symptoms, transmission, and prevention surrounding communicable disease. This will be an online instructed, yet interactive training. If you have NOT completed a Level 1/Phase 1 Communicable Disease Training please register today.
All Level 1 Virtual Trainings will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30PM - 6:30 PM
Level 2 Training:
All staff with client contact at a licensed treatment provider must attend. This training is an extension of Level 1/Phase 1 Communicable Disease Training. It will focus on how stigma, values, and perceptions surrounding communicable disease can impact client-centered communication. Please choose a date.
All Level 2 Virtual Trainings will be held weekly on Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 PM.
